Join your fellow Engineers Without Borders members and help frame a new home for a deserving family! We will be volunteering with Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, February 7th from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm at 1812 Merze Avenue in Henderson. Wondering what to wear? You need sturdy closed-toe shoes (no sandals, Uggs, converse, etc) and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend bringing sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, comfortable work gloves, and a water bottle. There's no need to bring tools unless you want to (hammer and nail apron). Never used a hammer? Don't worry, we'll teach you how. Construction experience is nice, but it's not required! Please RVSP to firstname.lastname@example.org or on facebook (EWB UNLV). Be sure to ask for a ride if you don't have transportation and it's important to be on time in the morning because there's a safety meeting and job assignment.
